Data and video footage that involves a violent action taken against another human will be automatically recognized by the device and instantly encrypted, becoming un-accessible to all parties except Justifire® Technologies LLC. Data will be provided to the owner of the device only through specific legal request, preventing any party from submitting the public to graphic illegal actions.
Yes. Due to its shape a firearm with Justifire® attached will most likely not fit in a traditional holster. We plan on creating our own line of custom holsters designed for specific weapons offering our customers the best fit and style possible.
Since Justifire is still in prototype phase it is hard to estimate a final weight after designing and producing our own electronics, housings, and varying materials for outer shells.
As with any new attachment the device will have an effect on the handling of the system, but no more than any tactical flash light, laser or silencer you can purchase today. To help improve the owners accuracy Justifire® will be equipped with software that gives it's owner accuracy and gun handling tips based upon geometric algorithms it applies to every shot you fire.
Justifire® Prototype 03 is not currently bullet-proof or indestructible, but we hope to offer these options in the future for specific production models.
Data that is recorded via the custom user 'event' settings will be viewable via a Justifire® desktop application, web app, or mobile app.
Justifire® never records your data unless a qualifying 'event' occurs. Justifire® is always collecting, filtering, and temporarily storing its data or as we call it 'Data Funneling' but only when specific event characteristics are measured does the device start recording or 'hard saving' its data. When these 'event' characteristics are detected the software is designed to plug its data funnel, save all data within a specific timeframe before and after said trigger 'event', and then encrypt that data. Custom event characteristics can be set by the user but certain actions, such as when the device is in the firing position, pointed at a living body, or when the firearm is discharged will always qualify as an 'event'. If throughout the day you do not meet the characteristics necessary to be considered an 'event' Justifire® will have no data stored or collected for that date.
Justifire® is currently charged using any standard Micro USB cable and power brick. USB-C and NFC capabilities for wireless charging via custom holsters and conceal carry purses.
Yes, all systems of the device will be functionally independent in order to meet the users personal preferences.
We plan to offer options depending on the specific production model chosen. Possibilities include: Micro USB, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, and NFC. *Data that involves a violent action taken against another human will be automatically recognized by the device and instantly encrypted, becoming un-accessible to all parties except Justifire® Technologies LLC. Our current prototype is expected to be fully functional for 24-48 hours of in-the-field activity. We expect future production models to have anywhere from 72 hours - 1 week of battery life away.
Yes, users can set up specific custom 'events' based on event characteristics and image recognition our software is capable of detecting such as a clay pigeon or wild game. 100%. All data is funneled, encrypted and stored locally to your devices memory. Since all data Justifire® records remains local the only way for your data to be stolen is if your device was physically stolen. Even in the event that this happens the thief would need to be able to break our highly complex encryption methods.
Our number 1 goal with Justifire is to protect the rights of its owner while also keeping the device extremely private and secure. We have also set out to create a device that is truly for the people, if GPS location tracking is a request then we can investigate creating specific production models that include this functionality.
Justifire® Technologies LLC will provide the data of any Justifire device upon the legal request of it's owner. In the future we hope that our early delivery of this precious evidence and reputation could prevent trials from even being necessary.
We are currently looking for engineers from varying fields who are interested in joining our small but dedicated staff.
Justifire® technologies does not offer a traditional internship program but it never hurts to reach out to us and let us know what you are interested in! employment@Justifire.com
